Eloqua and Salesforce.com Celebrate 100th Joint Customer
May 24, 2006
SAN FRANCISCO - salesforce.com Appforce Conference - Eloqua Corporation, the leading supplier of demand generation applications for business-to-business marketers, and salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM), the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced that 100 joint customers have integrated the two companies’ products to improve sales and marketing processes. Nearly half of the joint customers were introduced to Eloqua through salesforce.com’s AppExchange platform. The announcement was made today at Appforce, salesforce.com’s first annual AppExchange partner, user and developer conference.
SonicWALL Inc. (NASDAQ: SNWL), a leading provider of network security, Web and email security, and continuous data protection solutions, recently integrated salesforce.com CRM with Eloqua’s demand generation platform. SonicWALL will use Eloqua to automate its email and direct mail campaigns, and then track prospect behavior and interest on its website and microsites. All lead response activity, including email opens and click-thrus, website visits, click-stream and form submissions will be viewable by sales representatives in the activity field from within salesforce.com. This integrated process is expected to give the sales team insights into prospect activity and interest, and allow marketing to track the revenue impact of its programs through ‘first contact to close’ integrated reporting and analytics.
“The addition of the salesforce.com and Eloqua integration will help us to continue building a transparent, accountable and responsive marketing organization that operates in lockstep with our sales team,” said Rick Wootten, Director of eBusiness at SonicWALL. “We see it as a key part of our ongoing efforts to fine tune our process for attracting, educating and closing new customers.”
“Businesses that stay ahead of the competition are increasingly working to integrate mission critical applications. Our clients are integrating salesforce.com and Eloqua’s Conversion Suite to produce sales-ready leads through automated profiling and lead nurturing, measure marketing initiatives so that best practices can be repeated, and automate marketing campaigns to reduce lead acquisition costs,” said Mark Organ, CEO and co-founder of Eloqua. “For Eloqua, the AppExchange has been a key factor in our growth and success. Since joining the program, we have doubled our joint customer base with salesforce.com while experiencing zero attrition among our mutual customers. Today, 20% of our leads come from our listing on AppExchange.”
“We are pleased to see the AppExchange driving revenue for key partners like Eloqua,” said Bobby Napiltonia, senior vice president, worldwide channels and alliances, salesforce.com. “Eloqua’s Conversion Suite demand generation platform is a clear example of how salesforce.com customers can use AppExchange to extend the value of CRM by quickly integrating powerful marketing automation capabilities such as Eloqua’s automated lead qualification, scoring and nurturing feature-set.”
