Eloqua employees will join Oracle as a part of a global team, led by Eloqua's President Alex Shootman. The vast majority of Eloqua employees have now officially joined Oracle, ensuring continuity of Eloqua's product vision and customer relationships.

According to analyst Lori Wizdo, Forrester Research, Inc. in her blog post Oracle Acquires Eloqua: A Quick Take on What it Means: "The Eloqua I know is made up of a lot of smart and energetic people with a surfeit of vision and passion. The collective team that is Eloqua is now in the position to bring that vision to reality faster on a broader scale."
The Eloqua platform is an open platform and as a part of Oracle will continue to support our customers' choice of CRM systems to enable them to maintain existing integrations without disruption, and keep business running as usual. This means continued support for Salesforce.com, Microsoft, and SAP in addition to integrations with Oracle CRM and social applications.
In a recent Oracle Eloqua Webcast, Mark Hurd, President of Oracle, confirmed that "Oracle remains committed to enabling customers to use Eloqua's marketing cloud in a multi-vendor environment including non-Oracle sales force automation systems to support customer choice."
Support will remain for Salesforce Chatter and since Eloqua is a tool agnostic platform, customers can expect to see additional integration with similar tools such as Yammer and Oracle Social Network.
As a part of Oracle customers can expect an more investment in the product delivering and enhanced value of the Eloqua product suite. In addition, customers will be able to more easily take advantage of other Oracle solutions such as, Oracle's Big Data and Business Intelligence capabilities.
Through integration with Oracle's solutions in adjacent areas of the Customer Experience Cloud such as social, sales and service, Eloqua will be able to help marketers drastically improve the way they interact with prospects and customers across multiple touch points.
During the Oracle Eloqua Webcast, Thomas Kurian, Senior Vice President, Product Development at Oracle commented "Our roadmap is not just about integrating the products but continuing to enhance Eloqua as a best-of-breed marketing platform tailoring the user experience, functionally enhancing it, improving analytics, and globalizing it."
