Ellie Mae Utilizes Eloqua for All Lead Generating Activities

Marketers for Ellie Mae, a leading software and service provider for the mortgage industry, wanted to create accountability for its marketing campaigns and credibility with the sales force. They also wanted to generate and score leads, providing the sales force with only the leads that were the most qualified while nurturing those leads that weren’t yet ready to be handed off. In addition, Ellie Mae required the solution be closely integrated with its preexisting CRM platform.
Solution
Eloqua’s Conversion Suite enabled Ellie Mae to combine marketing campaigns across several different channels and effectively measure the effectiveness of each of those campaigns through a single integrated platform. Using marketing automation, Eloqua developed a method of scoring leads based on embedded analytics which then allowed marketing to pass on the most qualified leads to sales. Ellie Mae was able to target those leads that weren’t as qualified and place them into programs that nurtured the prospect's interest.
Results
After using Eloqua for a year, Ellie Mae was able to convert 15% of its prospects and increase market share by 10%. Using Eloqua, marketers at Ellie Mae are able to determine the effectiveness of each of its marketing campaigns, allowing them to concentrate their efforts on the ones that work and eliminate the ones that don’t. Eloqua’s solution has contributed immensely to the increased accountability of Ellie Mae’s marketing department and has helped align marketing more closely with sales.
